The Highland School Community & PTO...get involved!
Community
Community is at the heart of Highland Academy. Parents and other volunteers are invited and called upon to be an integral part of the school community. It is not uncommon to see parents, students and teachers planning, talking and working together after the school day ends!
Parents are encouraged to contribute their time and ideas in planning school events and fundraising efforts. In addition to spontaneous community, many school events are organized by the Highland Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
The Highland PTO
The PTO was created to foster family involvement and support. The PTO sponsors events for students, and also for parents and teachers. Unlike more traditional PTO's, we are not exclusively a fundraising organization and there are no dues.
